John Renzulli
Founder / VFX Supervisor
John is an experienced VFX Producer, Supervisor, and Award Winning Artist. With a background in photo-realistic CGI for feature films and creative 2D look development for series television, he can guide an idea from vision to delivery for screens of any size. He leads the CBFX team to create stunning visual effects daily. When he is not creating stunning VFX he is at home with his beautiful wife and young children; probably grilling out, watching a little league game, or facilitating kiddo art.
Arissa Blasingame
Head of Production
Arissa Blasingame is a born communicator, working on shows of all sizes from independent shorts to high end network episodics and features. She thrives on providing great customer service, and has delivered VFX projects of all sizes while smiling from start to finish. When she’s not managing her creative team (and the world), you can find her making great meals for friends and family or spending time at the beach.
Ruben "Biggie" Rodas
VFX Supervisor
Ruben “Biggie” Rodas is a highly skilled and accomplished VFX Supervisor based in New York. With over 15 years of experience in the VFX industry, Ruben has worked on numerous projects, including feature films, television shows, and commercials. Throughout his career, Ruben has impressed clients and peers alike with his creativity, technical prowess, and attention to detail. He specializes in developing innovative solutions to complex visual challenges, and he has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results under tight deadlines. Ruben’s extensive expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including compositing, motion graphics, and live-action photography. He is also experienced in leading and mentoring teams of artists and technicians, helping them to achieve their full potential and produce outstanding work. Over the years, Ruben has built a reputation as a collaborative and reliable partner for studios, directors, and producers. He is known for his ability to translate creative visions into stunningly realistic and immersive visual experiences that captivate audiences and enhance storytelling. When not “at work,” Ruben is watching movies and TV, shopping, and enjoying some Tito’s.
Kris Cabrera
CG Supervisor
Kris Cabrera is a CG Supervisor with over 16 years of experience. He has a strong background in lighting and scene assembly. Kris loves to get into a fresh scene and build from the ground up. He first started in modeling and then worked his way through the other areas of visual effects. What particularly interests him is working with a team that is looking to better themselves and working with clients who are very open on the creative side which tends to make things go smoothly. When not on a computer, Kris enjoys off-roading and camping with his family.
Alana Coddaire
Sr. VFX Producer
Alana Coddaire is a skilled multi-tasker with a knack for organization. She has been producing for 12 years, working in everything from Live Action Sports to Show packages, Commercials and Visual Effects. Alana, an adventure seeker, enjoys the outdoors and sharing new experiences with her husband and goofy toddler. During her off time you can find her hiking in the mountains, cheering on the Denver Broncos or enjoying a crisp craft beer at a local brewery.
Zachary Vesely
Sr. VFX Producer
Zachary Vesely is a VFX Producer with over 10 years of experience. Zachary loves engaging with clients as partners, working closely together to realize the creative vision for the project. “Bringing creative ideas alive on the screen for audiences to get lost in is exciting.” His most recent projects include ‘Outer Banks,’ ‘The Best Man: The Final Chapters,’ and ‘The Good Fight.’ Zachary graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rowan University’s TV/Film program where he produced multiple documentary films. Outside of VFX, Zachary enjoys hosting boardgame / role-playing game sessions with friends and spending time with his family.
Shannen Miceli
VFX Producer
Shannen Miceli is an Emmy-nominated VFX Producer with over 7 years of experience in high-end episodics. She is a natural collaborator with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills that help her navigate any situation. What excites Shannen most about visual effects is hearing a creative vision and then seeing it come to life through her talented team’s collaboration and hard work. Shannen has produced a range of projects including ‘Good Omens,’ ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ and ‘Succession.’ Shannen enjoys being a mom outside of work, taking her kids on adventures to the zoo with her husband, trying out new local brunch spots, and watching the LA Rams on Sunday afternoons.
Ethan LeCuyer
3D VFX Producer
Ethan LeCuyer is a 3D VFX Producer with over 10 years of experience in Production. Originally from small town upstate NY, Ethan moved to CA in 2013 to pursue the dream of working in film. He spent a few years working in trailers, and then documentary production working as a producer, writer, and director of photography before finding a home in visual effects. What excites him about VFX is the wide range of things that can be accomplished from makeup fixes to complete world-building. Ethan enjoys working with clients and embraces honest communication as the best path to success. Recent projects include ‘Good Omens,’ ‘Foundation,’ and ‘Hello Tomorrow.’ His hobbies include mountain biking, skiing, camping, hiking, photography, and woodworking. Ethan also volunteers as a firefighter and high school lacrosse coach. He’s basically a fantastic jack of all trades.
Arslan Naqvi
DFX Supervisor
Arslan Naqvi is a DFX Supervisor/Compositing Supervisor with over 10 years of experience. His most recent projects include ‘SEE,’ ‘From Scratch,’ ‘The Sandman,’ ‘Foundation,’ and an Amazon Audible commercial. Arslan’s approach to working with clients is to work collaboratively as a team with others who believe in making incredible visual effects. He always gives his best and creates something he can be proud of. What gets Arslan excited about visual effects is making the impossible possible and being part of a team that creates a beautiful world for everyone to enjoy and get lost in. Arslan was born in Pakistan and has lived mostly in New York since the age of 10. He has traveled to Florida, California, Vancouver, and Toronto in his career. Outside of work, Arslan’s time is dedicated to his wife and three children. “They sacrifice so much for my job and I do my best to give them everything they could ask for. I love playing video games with my kids!”
Cristiano Meira
Compositing Supervisor
Cristiano Meira started his career in 2000 as a VFX Producer in São Paulo, Brazil. As a VFX producer from 2000-2006, he was navigating all aspects of post-production. From 2006-2010 Cristiano worked as a Flame Artist with a variety of Directors and clients creating commercials and music videos. By 2010, his curiosity and passion for learning took him to Los Angeles, where he studied Compositing/Nuke at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Compositing is Cristiano’s passion to this day. From Los Angeles to San Francisco and now in New York City, he has worked in different studios and earned a variety of credits in Feature Films and Episodics.
