The Chicken Bone FX team thought this was one of the more interesting shots in the work we’ve done on the Westworld series (0:21- 0:33). We actually had to work with 2 separate shots (one with the stuntmen who were shot and another with the actresses’ stunt double both on blue screen) and brought them together. The work that was done included tracking both of the shots (blending the camera movement), creating a matte painted background to replace the blue screen, and adding blood splatter and muzzle flashes from the gun.
